My love affair with Italy began long before I ever set foot there. Growing up in a lively Italian-American household, surrounded by the aromas of Sunday dinners and the warmth of family traditions, I always felt a deep connection to my heritage. But it wasn’t until I took a leap of faith and studied abroad in Italy that I truly found my calling.
During my junior year at UMass Amherst, my Italian professor encouraged me to spend a year in Italy. Trusting my intuition, I packed my bags and never looked back. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated—not just by Italy’s beauty but by its rhythm, culture, and way of life. I immersed myself completely, quickly mastering the language and forging lifelong connections. That passion eventually shaped my 30+ year career, blending my expertise in marketing, production, and travel with my love for all things Italian.
I’ve lived, worked, and traveled extensively throughout Italy, from bustling cities to quiet countryside villages. I built a career in international marketing, navigated the film and production industry, and worked with foreign production crews shooting in Italy—organizing logistics, managing itineraries, and ensuring every detail was flawless. Through it all, one truth became clear: my greatest joy was helping others experience Italy in its most authentic form.
In 2022, I launched Italian Itinerary to do just that. My goal? To craft personalized travel designs that embrace slow travel, hidden gems, and local experiences—moving beyond the usual tourist trail to showcase the heart and soul of Italy. Whether it’s discovering the rolling vineyards of Piedmont, exploring the untouched villages of Calabria, or sharing a meal with locals in a family-run trattoria, I believe in curating experiences, not just itineraries.As a proud member of Slow Food and Slow Tourism, I’m committed to promoting sustainable, meaningful travel—connecting visitors with artisans, food producers, and locals who embody Italy’s rich traditions.
